CarP Privacy Policy

Effective date: 8 August 2026

CarP (the “App”) lets you photograph a car and use AI-assisted image editing to preview paint colors, wheel/rim designs and custom graphics/decals on it. This Privacy Policy explains what data the App handles, how it is used, where it is stored, and your choices. By using CarP you agree to the practices described below.

Short version: CarP has no account system and no server of its own. Your photos and edited projects are stored only on your device. The photo(s) needed for the edit you request are sent to our AI image-generation provider, Black Forest Labs, to produce the result, and are not retained by us. We do not sell your data and do not use it for advertising — the App has no ads or analytics SDKs at all.

1. Who we are

CarP is published under the chatdrop.me brand. For privacy questions you can reach us at slava.kolesnik709@gmail.com.

2. Data we collect

2.1 No account required

CarP does not require you to sign in or create an account. We do not collect your name, email address or any other identifying account data.

2.2 Photos you provide

The App works with photos you choose to give it:

The App only accesses the specific photo you take or select. It does not browse or access the rest of your photo library.

2.3 Diagnostic data

The App may produce local debug logs (visible in the device console) for troubleshooting. These logs are not transmitted to us automatically.

3. How your photos are used

We do not sell your photos or any other information, and we do not use them for advertising. We do not run our own image-processing servers; if you would rather not send a photo to our AI provider, you can still use the App to store and organise your own photos without generating an edit.

4. Where your data is stored

LocationWhat it holds
On your device Your car photos, edited results, and your saved rim and graphic libraries — the App’s entire storage.
Black Forest Labs (processing only) The photo(s) needed for a single edit, for as long as it takes to generate and return the result. See Black Forest Labs’ own privacy policy for their retention practices.

5. Permissions

The App does not request your microphone, location, contacts, or any other permission. You can revoke any of the permissions above in your device settings; some features will then be unavailable.

6. Sharing & export

The App lets you share a finished image or save it to your photo library through the system share sheet. You control where a shared image goes (messaging, email, social apps, etc.). Sharing and saving happen on your device, at your explicit action.

7. Service providers

The App relies on one processor:

Black Forest Labs processes data under its own privacy policy. We recommend you review it.

8. Data retention and deletion

Your photos and projects remain in the App’s local storage until you delete them. You can delete an individual project (and its photos) from within the App at any time. Uninstalling the App removes all of its locally stored data from your device. We do not separately retain copies of your photos once our AI provider has returned a result.

9. Security

Photos sent to our AI provider travel over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. Local data is stored in the App’s private sandbox on your device. No system is perfectly secure, and you are responsible for keeping your device secure.

10. Children

CarP is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect data from children.

11. Your rights

Depending on where you live (e.g. EEA, UK, California), you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete personal data. Because CarP stores your photos only on your own device, you can exercise most of these rights directly in the App by deleting a project, or by uninstalling the App. For anything else, contact us at slava.kolesnik709@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Effective date” at the top of the page reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the App after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
